Happy Birthday Glen :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLEN!! (even though I'm late :)

I think I'm pretty safe posting this even though my brother hasn't gotten it yet. I don't think he reads my blog, and Glen, if you do happen to read this one, close it now :)

This is the card I made my oldest older brother for his birthday this year, I have 2 brothers and they're both older than me - hee hee, so one is my oldest older brother and the other is my youngest older brother.

We just got this House Mouse stamp in at 2RedBananas, and my brothers both play golf so I knew this would be his birthday card! The little mouse even looks like him, he's kind of ornery :) I just love the House Mouse stamps and they are so much fun to color. I used prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits, that's almost always what I use to color these images.

Supplies:
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, SU Bliss Blue (sponged for the sky)
Other: Nesties - labels three, May Arts striped grosgrain ribbon, button, jute, old MAMBI letter stickers, Basic Grey brad

Our quote for the day: "We know the truth, not only by the reason, but also by the heart." - Blaise Pascal

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great evening!

Such a great card, Jeanette! I like the way you matted the image with the same shape cut in fourths. Your coloring is awesome, too.

Great job on the birthday card for your brother. He'll be thrilled to receive it, I'm sure. The whole gang at House-Mouse thinks this card is beautifully done. Keep on stampin' on. p.s. Happy Birthday to Glen.
