I played today :) I finished two challenge cards (and I'm a pretty slow card maker). AND one of my cards is a two-fer (I completed two challenges with one card :) That doesn't happen very often for me!
This first card is for the House-Mouse challenge of making an Anniversary or Wedding card. This one is for some friends of ours who are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this weekend. I also used the Weekend Sketch Challenge sketch.
Stamps: Sunflower Smooch - Stampabilites, Anniversary Birds - VerveVisual
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Vintage Sepia, Chalk inks - creamy brown, chestnut roan
Other: Dew Drops - sunflower, ribbon, glitter, charm, prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits
This next card was made for the MOJO89 challenge. I love sketch challenges. I love all challenges, but the sketch ones just draw me in. I love seeing all the different interpretations of the sketches too. This is my take on this fun sketch.
Stamps: Beautiful You - VerveVisual, Clear Butterflies - MS
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia, chalk ink - creamy brown
Paper: Basic Grey - wisteria
Other: Nesties - Labels One, pop dots, primas, pearls, glitter, May Arts ribbon, prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits
Our quote for the day: "Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out if they've got a second. Give your dreams all you've got and you'll be amazed at the energy that comes out of you." - William James
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to 'see' you again tomorrow :)
