It's Banana Split Sunday

Good Morning! It's Banana Split Sunday and this week's challenge is a sketch challenge!

I love sketches! For some reason, many times I end up turning them on their side and this one was no exception. That's okay though, I'm good with that :)

Here is the sketch:

And here are the cards I created with it.

This one uses "A Kiss for Chloe" by Sarah Kay, I just love her images. I also used both sides of one piece of dp again. I just love that :)

Supplies:
Stamps:
A Kiss for Chloe - Sarah Kay
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, SU Bliss Blue (sponging), Chalk ink - Chestnut Roan
Paper: October Afternoon - Daydream collection
Other: prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits, buttons, burlap fabric, nesties, pop dots

I also fringed the burlap by pulling a strand of the fabric from the sides and used the strands to tie through the button holes.

This one uses the new July Journaling Spot that will be available Wednesday.

Supplies:
Stamps: July Journaling Spot - 2RedBananas
Ink: Versafine Vintage Sepia, Chalk ink - Chestnut Roan, Distress Ink
Paper: Making Memories
Other: Nesties Labels Four, pop dots, prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits

This is an easy sketch to use and perfect for double sided papers :) Be sure to hop on over to the 2RedBananas blog and to the blogs of the design team to get more ideas and to play along!

These cards are both so awesome. I love the July Journaling set. I have so many beach photos now that I can use it with. Yay.
