Oh my gosh, is he not the cutest thing??? This is one of my recently acquired stamps from High Hopes stamps. You know sometimes I just feel this way, actually more often than I'd like to admit :) But lately the weather has been beautiful here, almost fall like and things are going well! I still LOVE this little guy though :) For this card I stamped the ostrich in Versafine sepia and colored him with prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits. He's mounted on DCWV cardstock, and then on Basic Grey recess paper. I distressed everything a little bit with my Heidi Swapp pac woman distresser :) I did sponge in blue around the ostrich but you really can't see that very well unless you click on the picture and enlarge it. The ribbon is from May Arts and the arrows are from American Crafts. My hubby had some technical difficulties with his blog the first time so he has started again.
