Banana Split Sunday - Stripes and Dots

Good Morning! It's been a while since I've posted, sorry about that. Today, though, is Banana Split Sunday at 2RedBananas. The challenge for this week is to use Stripes and Dots. I love stripes and dots together :)

This is what I came up with. I even got to use lots of buttons which I seem to just collect and use just a few at a time so my collection grows faster than I use them.

Banana Split Sunday

Good Morning - It's Banana Split Sunday! This week's challenge, called "Pick a Color, any Color" is to make a monochromatic project. I don't often make these, so it was a fun challenge for me! I just love this little bird's mouth! He is just so adorable!! I love the scarf too, oh I should just face it, I just love him :)

I also finished cleaning up my studio, paper scraps sorted and put away even :) I'm going to try to take some pictures, and I'll share those. After I finished cleaning, I made 2 Mother's Day cards, it's so nice creating when I have everything put where it should be, you would think I would remember that feeling and keep it picked up :) I'll share those cards later.

Okay, I'm off to work in the yard for a bit and then we have softball games this afternoon. Have a wonderful spring day!!

Banana Split Sunday and Meet "the Early Birds"

Good Morning! Today we are starting the Banana Split Sunday Challenge at 2RedBananas a day early because of Easter being tomorrow. It's a sketch challenge and we would love for you to play along. You even have a chance to win one of the newly released stamp sets! You can see the sketch as well as all the projects that the dt made on the 2RedBananas blog.

My card not only uses the sketch, but introduces you to the new set "the Early Birds". I love these little guys, especially the one peeking out of the shell :) So cute! Jami's sketch is a great one, and I'm sure I'll be using it again!
