Back to School Backpacks

Hi!

I'm so excited about these little backpacks. The technique challenge on SCS today is to make one of these backpack boxes. You make them using 2 pieces of 8 1/2 X 11 cardstock or in my case I used one piece of 12X12 double sided dp or 2 pieces of single sided 12X12 dp.

I made them for our young grandsons and I'm going to put McDonalds gift cards and crayons or something else little inside them for Back to School :) They are a little over 4 1/2" tall and about 3 1/2" wide. They were easy to make too

Here is a link to the instructions - Backpack Box

I also showed my daughter and she thinks they're really cute too. We might make some for her friends' birthdays. She almost always gives gift cards and jewelry or lip gloss stuff so these would be perfect and so cute!

Okay, I'm going back to working on projects now, I just had to share these when I finished.

Remember the sale on the 2RedBananas site started today :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

These are great, Jeanette! Your grandsons are very lucky, as are your daughter's friends:) I have to say, I checked out the challenge and decided to skip it. I might have to change my mind!

Hi Jeanette! Your backbacks are adorable! I am going to have to try one of these. They would be great for "back to school"!

I'm only about 40 miles away from you. I live south of Des Moines in the very small town of Prole! Nice to meet a fellow Iowian even if you are from Louisianna! LOL I'm originally from Pennsylvania!
