Banana Split Sunday - Cardstock Only

Hi! It's Banana Split Sunday again! :)

This week's challenge is called "Cardstock Only" and is to use only cardstock and one other embellishment. I seem to have an addiction to patterned paper, so when I was thinking about what to use on this card, I kept picking up patterned paper!!

But in the end, this is what I came up with and I have to say, it was pretty fun to make!

Supplies:

Paper: Cardstock
Other: Dahlia Nestabilities (on sale now), Dew Drops - soil, EKSuccess border punch, Cuttlebug embossing folder

We would love for you to play along too! Just hop on over to the 2RedBananas blog. You will be able to see more samples from the dt and link your creation to the post.

Our quote for the day: "I can't believe that God put us on this earth to be ordinary." - Lou Holtz

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Very cool card! I love that dotted background. And the flower made with your Nesties is awesome. Did you use LSU colors on purpose?

This challenge was *definitely* a challenge! I didn't realize how dependent upon patterned paper I am until I couldn't use it! I really love this gorgeous layered blossom and the dewdrop center...the graceful curves of the pierced border make this so elegant!

What a gorgeous card, Jeanette! Looks like a fun challenge (although I always have a hard time using patterned paper!)
