More Sneak Peeks for tomorrow night's release :)

Good Morning! I have two more sneak peeks to show you of the stamp sets that will be released at All That Scraps, tomorrow at 10pm est. We will have a release party so come have some fun!
This first set is called Winter Bear. He's just adorable! All I did was color him with Copics and added some highlighting and some liquid applique to his hat, oh and glitter to the snowman, what snowman can be without glitter :)

It's a FUN set!!
The next card uses Sadie. This set is called Wintertime Sadie and Pepper by Jen at Stampin Spot Studio. The sentiment comes in the set too :) I love the Sadies, she's just so adorable!
I paired Sadie with some snowflake paper and some Bazzill cardstock. I used my nestabilities to cut the salmon frame. I colored everything with Copics and added the highlighting. Then I added the embellishments from Sandylion and the ribbon. The card is a little brighter IRL. I couldn't quite get the colors right on my computer, sorry :( Another fun Sadie set!!!

Introducing Forest Friends by Stampin' Spot Studio

Good Morning! It was so much fun this morning, when I woke up and heard our grandson, Tyler, talking in his bed, but his Mom wasn't quite ready to get up yet, so I went and got him and took him down with me to get Ben and Sara's breakfast ready for them. Tyler was so warm and snuggly :) He helped me get Ben and Sara ready for school and we watched them drive away and waved to them. I'm already enjoying him sooooooo much. Last night, Cliff and I took him to Target with us to get some groceries and of course a little toy for Tyler. He got Maracas that sing and count and tell colors. I'm sure the people on the plane with them when they are going home will 'love' me :)

My card today, is using a soon to be released set by Jen Ofiana - Stampin' Spot Studio. It's called Forest Friends and is filled with LOTS of little animals and sayings and such. It's adorable!! You can go to the ATS blog to see some fabulous samples using this set. I colored my image with prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits. I can see myself using this set for many many occasions!

Remember the sketch from Amy Westerman from a few days ago. I used it again today :)

the ATS Previews are Beginning.....today it's Sadie & Brandon

Good Morning! There are so many FUN All That Scraps new stamp sets that we will be previewing starting today :) The release is Monday, November 10th. Today I'm previewing Sadie playing soccer. Jen also will be releasing Brandon playing soccer so you can go to the All That Scraps blog to see more samples and some of Brandon too :)

This is a great set because Jen included a numbers set so you can put whatever number on the jersey that you want. And the flag is blank but she included some soccer sayings so you can personalize that too! When I started playing with this set, lots more ideas came to mind, but I really like the idea of doing thank you cards for the coaches because they volunteer their time and it's ALOT of time. My kids have been involved in sports since they were very little and I truly appreciate their coaches, this is a way to express that in a very fun way!!

Okay, lots to do, first go vote!!!!! It's a priviledge and a responsibility that we all are given. Please take advantage of it and help direct the path of our country. Okay, off my soapbox now :)

Good Morning! I didn't get a chance to participate in the ATS Review Preview on Friday because that's when I was learning how to color ;) So, I will review Sadie today! She is the cutest little thing and is designed by Jen Ofiana. Remember there are three Sadie's right now and you can purchase them here. $7.50 for Sadie and a sentiment!!!

This one is obviously for Christmas. I used cardstock and dp from the DCWV Christmas stacks. The candy cane one is sparkly irl. I colored Sadie with Copics and my newly learned blending technique (color the lighter red completely over the area, then add the darker red just where you want the darker color to be and then go back over the darker color with the lighter red and it will blend then nicely together.....see no blender pen :) Sadie's candy cane also sparkles irl because I used spicas on it. Maybe you can see the sparkles better if you make the picture bigger, I don't know yet, haven't tried it :) I used liquid applique for all the white furry parts of Sadie's outfit and added some glitter to that before I heated it. Cut the image and matting with my nesties and added the ribbon. My hubby like this one alot, because I didn't add a ton of stuff to it (mainly dew drops) and he likes that Sadie takes center stage, she's sure cute enough to!

Hopefully I'll get ahead on my posts because I'm going to Texas next week to scrapbook with some friends and to see my sister and her family. I'm going to ATTEMPT to pre-schedule some posts. We'll see how that goes :)

A Surprise Designer from All That Scraps!

Good Morning! Well, I'm a little later in getting this posted than I intended! We have another new illustrator at All That Scraps. The talented Jen Ofiana ! She has come up with a darling little girl named Sadie and some fun things for Sadie to be doing! Today, I have used two of the three Sadie illustrations, but if you go to Jen's blog you will see all three of them :)

My first card is made with Sadie dressed up as an Indian for Thanksgiving. Each set comes with a Sadie and a sentiment to use with her. I love Thanksgiving, so I'm sure this Sadie will be used quite often at my house. I used Cosmo Cricket dp as my background and then a cuttlbug embossing folder to emboss the brown layer above that. I color Sadie with prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits and then cut her out with my nesties and sponged the edges. Then I used a scallop nestie to cut the orangy color bazzill to mat the image on and of course I pierced the scallops :) The Happy Thanksgiving is sized so you can you the SU window punch as well as the McGill window punch which is the one I have. I inked the sentiment added some gems and pop dotted it onto the card. Oh I can't forget the dew drops and ribbon that I added :) Such a fun stamp to play with.
This one is Sadie dressed up to go to a birthday party with balloons in hand. She's just adorable! I used my Fiskars slot punch to punch holes on the back side of the card and then cut the front so the ribbon would show. Then I added the dp by Fancy Pants and stamped Sadie in Versafine black (cause I'm having trouble finding my Memento ink on my messy desk :) I colored her with prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits and then colored the balloons with glaze pens. If you've never used glaze pens, you should give them a try when you have a chance. They are bright colors and roll so smoothly and they're shiny when they dry. They give kind of a embossed effect because they stick up just a bit. The do take a few minutes to dry so you have to be careful of that. Anyway I inked around the Sadie piece and did some doodling then matted her on red and let the balloons hang above the matting. I cut the nameplate with my quickutz and then stamped Happy Birthday on it. The Happy Birthday comes in one line, so I inked the Happy and stamped it and then I inked the Birthday and stamped it. It was really easy to do. The red dots are sparkly stickers from Stampendous and I pop-dotted the sentiment up again.

These are such fun stamps to play with and I'm sure mine will be used many, many times!! They will be released at All That Scraps on Tuesday, October 7th at 10:00 et and the release party starts at 8:00. Join us for some fun!

Jen is giving away a set of the Sadie's so be sure to jump over to her blog to comment! Stampin' Spot Studio. You can also visit the ATS blog to see more samples made with the Sadie's.
