A new Sketch

Hi!!  It feels good to be posting again.  I have been creating a little bit, but haven't been able to post.   That work thing was getting in the way.  ;)

This card uses Operation Write Home's newest sketch, number 175.  The sketch actually uses 4 1" squares and my first attempt used embossed lines at the 1" mark, but I really thought it took away from the stamp, so I changed it.  My card puts the squares together for one big square, but I used a new Hero Arts, Operation Write Home stamp, so hopefully that counts ;). This stamp is part of the new Hero Arts Operation Write Home sets that are being sold at Hobby Lobby.  There are two sets available.

The papers and photo corners were from my stash, love that as well.

Our quote for the day,  "Every experience God gives us, every person He  puts into our lives, is the perfect preparation for a future only He can see."  - Corrie ten Boom

Have a great day and hope  to see you soon!

How cute! I really like your take on the sketch. I do not have a Hobby Lobby near me, so I haven't had a chance to get those new sets yet.

Cute card! I was so excited to see the OWH stamps in the Online Store since they were sold out in my city. Love that you used paper to make photo corners on the sentiment.

Such a great color combo! :) And wouldn't have thought about putting photo corners on a card. As my teen sons would say, face palm. So simple and yet that little difference that helps make the card! Thanks so much for sharing.
