All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge

Good Morning! It's Wednesday and so it's All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge. This weeks challenge is to do a Back to School project. Mine is above and is a card using "Olivia's Birdies" by CC Designs. This card was a little 'busy' for me but I still like it. As I was making it, I kept thinking, "It needs something else" and so I would add something else. Finally, I figured I couldn't add anything else that would enhance the card, so I stopped here :)

I started with a prism cardstock base and then added patterned paper from K&Co Wild Saffron. The borders are from Making Memories, the chalkboard is black cardstock with colored pencil "chalk" writing. I stamped Olivia and her birdies in Versafine black and paper pieced her shirt and colored the rest with prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits. The border around the chalkboard is paper from KI Memories. The school books were hand cut from cardstock and hand written. Another fun challenge from Jen.

We would love for you to play along. Just go to the message board. You can also go to the gallery to see more of what the design team came up with for this challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

It's adorable! I especially love the chalk writing (it looks real!) and the little piece of chalk. ;) Very creative!
