I'm Living on Challenges right now.....

Good Morning! Thanks for thinking of me when you're watching Gustav, I appreciate it! I talked to my mom yesterday for just a minute. They were in Baton Rouge, had lost power, and had a little bit of damage to my brother's house, but nothing major as far as they know. Lake Charles, where my parents live was supposed to get less of the storms so we'll see.

This card was made for the Inspiration Challenge over on SCS. The inspiration is a hotel called Hotel Fox in Copenhagen, Denmark. It's really cool. Take a look! The challenge was to choose a room to use as your inspiration. The room I chose was Room 312. These rooms are really pieces of art although I'm not sure I could sleep in many of them. It would be an interesting night :)

My card uses Bazzill Basics - ocean and flamingo, Hero Arts Scroll Tree stamp, CHF Motivation Centers for the quote, ribbon and dew drops. Oh, I did pull out my old CM wave cutter. It was fun once I found it :)

Tomorrow is the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge, be sure to stop by tomorrow and see what we have in store for you. We are also getting closer to the sneak peeks of the new CC Designs stamps. All I have to say is be prepared, they're awesome!!!

Our quote for the day: "The road to happiness lies in two simple principles:
find what it is that interests you and that you can do well,
and when you find it put your whole soul into it -
every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have."
- John D. Rockefeller II

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

That IS a very interesting room you chose, but you did a really good job giving your card its feel. Love the wavy contour of the card.

I'm glad you and your family are all right. Those hurricanes are so scary! You were in my prayers.

Oh, and BTW, I LOVE your new pic! You're so pretty, Jeanette!
