Throwing a Birthday card in the mix :)

Good Morning! How is your morning starting off so far? Ours is cold and wet. There are a couple of towns that are semi-close to us that got 12.5 inches of snow yesterday and are getting freezing rain today. BBBBrrrrrrrr!!

Today, I decided to throw in a birthday card that didn't have any Valentine's colors in it whatsoever :) On this card I used a new product for me. It's not a new product by any means, but it is for me. Tim Holtz's distress embossing powder. It was pretty cool. You use it like regular embossing powder except it's a little bit harder to tell when it has melted. Then you rub your fingers across the image and scrape off the little things that are still sticking up (the special release crystals) and that's what makes it look distressed. Pretty cool! I thought it fit this card very well and I will be getting some more of these embossing powders! You can purchase them through AllThatScraps here, http://www.allthatscraps.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=294_585 . Lots of colors to choose from.
